Course Description

This course, "Living-Connected," is designed for individuals who want to learn how to engage with hurting people in a way that brings healing. It draws inspiration from the book Love-Connects and the Six Steps of Living-Connected. The course offers practical guidance on authentic connections that can help mend the hearts of those in pain.

This course teaches practical steps of living-connected in a way that heals a broken heart, mends a marriage, repairs a relationship, and bears one another’s burdens.  We all bump into or are around people who are struggling with grief, depression, pain, or something traumatic that has happened. We don't know what to say or do to help them, so it's easier to avoid them. When it's our friends and family avoidance often makes matters worse. Don't let this happen anymore. Although we may not be able to cure their problems, we can bring healing when we connect with their suffering.

Many of us hope that our lives will make a difference in this world. We want to leave a mark and be remembered…to do something BIG. It gives us purpose and helps us get out of bed in the morning. Our son Lee didn’t invent anything or make any discoveries that changed the world. He didn’t win any championships or accomplish anything that would rewrite history. But he did live a life sharing in the sufferings of many others and became a Hero to them. It was out of his own physical, emotional, and spiritual pain that he gave us a blueprint on how to connect with people in a way that can heal the soul of its deepest wounds.

He didn’t know it at the time, but what he did for many, directly and now indirectly with these steps has made, and will make, a BIG impact in this life. And his story can be your story. You don’t have to do one BIG thing in this life to make a difference.

Participants of this course will learn how to be others-focused and available, embracing the power of being present, curious, empathetic, and encouraging. The step-by-step process taught in the course aims to create a positive and healing impact in the lives of those around them. It focuses on "Why and How" to live-connected in a soul-healing way using the 6 practical steps:

  1. Be Others Focused and Available
  2. Be Present and Listen
  3. Be Curious and Interested
  4. Be Empathetic and Compassionate
  5. Be Encouraging and Hopeful
  6. Connect To God

By following these steps, you will gain the confidence to reach out to hurting people, whether they are strangers, family, or friends, and engage in a way that fosters healing and shared understanding. Ultimately, this course is for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of others and create meaningful connections that bring healing and comfort to someone who is grieving.
